Well, I’m back in the Burgh and on cue my air conditioning broke on just about the hottest day of the year. At least I was able to cool myself down in the bliss of beating the Cardinals 3 out of 4.

You can spend time being mad that Bryan Reynolds name is out there, but let’s also not pretend he wouldn’t be a hot commodity. Just having the discussion shows just how tough it would be to pry him from Pittsburgh.

Good afternoon from the beach. I know I’m supposed to just shut down for the week, but that’s just not how I’m wired. I’ve listened to every game this weekend including on the drive down Friday Night, what a nuts game that was.

Joe and Justin are back and this week they have their minds on the bullpen. It’s more fun to talk big trades, but reality is there are far more moves like this year over year.

A 7 game losing streak isn’t fun, and it’s not possible to watch it, even if you expected it, without at least asking a few questions. This isn’t a good baseball team, and if you ask me the frustration is ramped up because for the first time since game one, this team has most of their best components. So of all times to go on a stretch like this, it seems at the very least odd. It also doesn’t help bad decisions were partially responsible, this team doesn’t need help from the instructors to fail.

Good afternoon, and happy Memorial Day! Today is about so much more than the beginning of Summer or grilling up some dogs, at least take a moment today to close your eyes for a second and really think about the sacrifices made to keep us safe and free.
